Whilst taking photographs of the Suspension Bridge for art inspiration I decided to capture an image of the Observatory as well.
Based on a photograph I took of the Observatory at the @ Bristol Discovery Centre I used different shades of blue to produce a Mono-print.
This print is based one of many photographs I took during an Art College trip around Bristol Harbour.
Brunel's Suspension Bridge captured against a yellow sky like a shadow in front of the Sun.
Blue is my favourite colour so working on this print gave me the opportunity to use different shades of blue in one print.
I drive pass this forgotten part of Clifton a lot on my journeys to Cardiff and Cribbs Causeway and decided it needed more attention outside of Bristol Open Days.
Using a photograph I took of a Cyberman I sat with on a train at The Beer Heights Light Railway in Devon, I added a spaceship background for this print.
The Cybermen are almost as iconic as the Daleks and I felt that shades of blue would make these steel emotionless monsters stand out.
I printed this image not long after the M Shed at Bristol Harbour opened to the public for the first time.
This print is based on a photograph I took of the night sky without using the flash settings. The results created a series of patterns which I thought looked amazing.
These iconic monsters from the BBC Sci-fi Drama Doctor Who have been terrorising us since 1964 and are one of my favourite villains in the show.
An icon of our city built in the 1800's kept in good condition at Bristol Harbour.
These creepy monsters were introduced to Doctor Who in 2011 and took like a scarier version of Edvard Munch's painting The Scream.
This print captures the Suspension Bridge in Clifton as I see it when the Sun is behind it.
This is one of my favourite artworks because it's simple, but also captures one of the bridge's towers brilliantly.
